There is a shop on my local high street called Tiger Tiger (its a chain apparently). It sells lots of stuff that looks amazing in the shop setting - bowls with cute designs, tiered cake plates, bright and funky napkins, tweezers, chilli flakes and bike bells - all for mere pounds. You enter and within minutes your basket is full and you are ten pounds out of pocket. Once home you realise you should and could live without everything you have purchased.
Problem is I can't walk past without a glance.
Here's how they seduced me to part with a tenner today.....
that's two tubes of bubbles, a couple of packets of beads, some elastic, a packet of herbes de provence and a pair of gardening gloves. None of which I need.
Will I ever learn?

Those gardening gloves are cute though!
There's a similar shop on my high street, it's called Ye Olde Sweet Shop or something and I always emerge with rhubarb and custards, dip dabs and popping candy. All which I can do without.
Don't get me started on the pound shop. Will came back with temporary tattoos, a kite and some stickers...
Hey... don't be so hard on yourself! Bubble mix is a necessity for 2.5 year old girls. And you don't want to ruin your manicure in the garden, and how can you be a domestic goddess without herbs??? So, really, it's all vitally important and completely justifiable stuff. Except maybe the elastic. You could have lived without that. ;)
oh I'm the same, can buy a load of unwanted tat and get excited about it 'cos it was 'such a bargain'! x
Must find me a Tiger, Tiger near me. Sounds like an Aladdin's Cave. Love the floral gardening gloves. They would def tempt me to do some weeding.

But all of those are very nice things and you could find a use for them
We have a similar shop near the office, full of lovely things I don't need but definitely want
No you won't! Sorry. I like the gardening gloves too. I think it is the girl in us...for me the attraction to places like this started as a child with funky toy shops and has only graduated to bric-a-brac shops like these.
The beads, elastic and bubbles are always useful for entertaining little girls. So you were subconsciously smart.
